As part of a self-directed photography assignment, I chose to photograph the joy in relationships. Whether it be friends, siblings, couples, teammates, etc., I believe that relationships are the key to living a happy life. Especially with everything how it is in the world right now, the connections we have with others are what keep us sane and motivated. I specifically want to look at the joy aspect because I tend to be a very optimistic person and I want my photography to reflect that optimism.
